The Bumbo Floor Seat gently supports babies to sit up on their own. The deep seating surface and curved backrest of the design ease the baby into an upright position. The elevated leg openings of the seat gently reclines the baby towards the centre of the rounded backrest easing the baby into an upright position.
The floor seat is priceless during the stage of baby's development when they are particularly curious about their environment and more content to sit up than lying down. We all know the importance of tummy time, but the floor seat is an invaluable tool to give your baby a break from tummy time and a chance to sit up and eat, play and interact with you. Purchased this for my sister and her new bubba. Fantastic quality, nice and soft, giving an extra set of hands when desperately needed. Baby can sit up quite comfortably for them, even at a young age (bubba is less than six months). Would have been nice if Bumbo offered a better variety of colours.
We got the Bumbo Floor Seat for our boy who was starting to sit on his own with just a little help for balance. We love the foamy material, the unique design of the seat contouring that keeps him upright, and how sturdy it is. It has a safety buckle for the added protection so gives us extra peace of mind that he is secure in it, even though we are always around to watch him.
I used it when I needed both hands to do something such as folding washing; he loves to “help me” and I don’t have to hold him because he is well balanced in the Bumbo seat.
I would recommend buying the tray that’s specifically made for this seat so it becomes more versatile.
Such a great seat for those first table moments. Super soft and really easy to clean. Great for grandma and grandpa house, camping or at home.
Great seat for Baby to be introduced into meal times.
