SAFETY: There is nothing more important than your baby’s safety. That's why we've included these essential safety features:
- Mesh sides for good visibility, so you can keep an eye on bubs & good ventilation incase they roll onto the sides.
- A safe flat base that sits directly on the ground.
- Solid and sturdy sides that withstand pressure without collapsing or crushing.
- No chance of escape! The height between the base and the top of this cot is 72cm. The recommended height for determined toddlers trying to escape is 51cm.
- Soft padded, enclosed corners mean your baby's fingers, toes and clothes can't get caught on the corners.
- A zip opening that can only be opened from the outside.
- Non-slip 'feet' so your little one can't push the play pen around on slippery surfaces.

LIFESPAN: Use your playpen when baby begins to sit up and crawl, usually around 6 to 8 months old, until they are around 2 to 3 years old. The age range varies depending on your little one’s development and needs. Once your toddler has outgrown his playpen, unzip the door and he’ll turn it into his own wonderful fort or cubby!

Please Note: If you leave your Bubble Bum in the car, on hot days, please deflate your Bubble Bum Car Booster inner. Alternatively remove your Bubble Bum from your car when not in use.
Under New Zealand law, all children under seven years of age must use an approved child restraint appropriate for their age and size. Children aged seven must be secured in a restraint if one is available in the vehicle.
Until their 7th birthday the law states you must secure your child in an approved child restraint.
From their 7th to their 8th birthday you must secure your child in an approved child restraint if one is available in the vehicle (and if not, in any child restraint or safety belt that is available).
From their 8th birthday to 14 years old you must use safety belts if available. If not available, they must travel in the backseat.
Over 14 years old your child must use safety belts where they are available.
International best practice recommends the use of an appropriate child restraint (or booster seat) until your child reaches 148 cm tall or is 11 years old. Child restraint and medical professionals recommend that you keep your baby in a rear-facing restraint until as old as practicable, at least until they are 2 years of age.

A good enclosed space for my 7 month old while i do house chores, perfect size for our small space. The best part's how easy it is to expand/collapse. It's the same price as the kmart one but the quality of this one is leaps and bounds better.

Great option from when you need to leave the room for a couple of minutes and they climb out of a portacot this is deeper and keeps them safe
This playpen has been a game changer for our small apartment. It’s compact enough to fit in tight spaces, but still offers plenty of room for baby to play comfortably and safely. One of the best parts is how easily it folds down and how it barely takes up any space when not in use. It also comes with a storage bag, which makes it easy to take when travelling (etc), which is really helpful when you need to take bubs elsewhere and want to have a safe space for them to chill in (e.g. to visit friends/family who do not have baby-proofed homes!). The build is really sturdy, so no concerns about quality or safety from us so far. It creates a secure, cozy spot, and the mesh sides give excellent visibility as advertised—making it sooo easy to keep an eye on bubs while getting our chores done nearby (or even if we just need a moment to put baby down). Definitely good value for money—one of our favourite baby purchases so far. Highly recommend!
This one is a really good value playpen. At the price I bought ($140), it's only $20 more than the Kmart one and but is sturdier and looks better too. Super easy to set up, no assembly needed. And easy to pack for travelling. Highly recommend. My only 2 cent is it would be great if Moose also sells a round playmat with the diameter that matches this playpen. As it's not easy to find the exact diameter. I used a 100 cm playmat but as you can see it's too small. And the 150 cm Kmart round playmat would be too big.
