What is a hands-free baby towel?
It's a baby bath towel you wear like an apron. You clip the Cuddledry around your neck before bath time. When your baby is ready to come out, you lift them with both hands straight onto your chest, pop the hood over their head and wrap the towel around them. Your hands stay on your baby the whole time.
How many baby towels do I need?

Does Cuddledry have a hood?
Yes. There's a hood in the corner of the towel. Once your baby is on your chest, you pop it over their head to dry their hair and keep them warm.
What size is the Cuddledry towel?
It measures 112 cm x 75 cm, the same as a standard adult bath towel. There's plenty of room to wrap a newborn, and plenty left over as your baby grows.
Will my baby grow out of it?
Not quickly. Most baby towels feel small within months. Cuddledry is the size of an adult bath towel, so it keeps wrapping your little one well into the toddler years.
What's the difference between Cuddledry and a normal hooded baby towel?
Both have a hood. The first difference is the lift. With a normal hooded towel you hold it open while you lift a wet baby out of the bath. Cuddledry is already on you, so both hands are free. The second is size. Cuddledry is adult towel size, so your baby won't outgrow it the way they outgrow a small hooded towel.
Is Cuddledry a safe way to get my baby out of the bath?
A wet baby is slippery, and holding a towel at the same time leaves you with one free hand. With Cuddledry the towel is already on you, so you can use both hands to lift your baby securely. The towelling is snag-free, so little fingers and toes won't catch in loops. Keep one hand on your baby in the bath and never leave them alone in water, even for a moment.
Do babies need their own towels? Can I use a normal towel?
Any clean, soft towel will dry your baby. The tricky part is the lift. With a normal towel you're holding the towel and a wet baby at once. Cuddledry stays on you, so you get full coverage and both hands free.
What is Cuddledry made from? Is bamboo good for baby skin?
Cuddledry is 56% bamboo viscose and 35% cotton, in a double layer of soft towelling. The other 9% is polyester in the base weave only. It doesn't touch your baby's skin and it stops the towel shrinking. The towelling is warp-knitted, so it's snag-free for tiny fingers and toes.
How does Cuddledry fasten?
Two poppers clip it around your neck. When your baby is on the change table, you unclip it with one hand and keep them wrapped while you get their clothes ready.
Will I get wet using Cuddledry?
The double layer of towelling hangs between you and your baby. It soaks up the splashes and bath water, so your clothes stay dry.
How do I wash Cuddledry and keep it soft?
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Skip fabric conditioner. Cuddledry stays softer without it. Air dry if you can, or tumble dry on cool only.
Can I use Cuddledry for baby swimming?
Yes. It works the same way at the pool. Clip it on, lift your baby out of the water and wrap them up straight away.
