Shipping Policy Update

At Moosebaby, we strive to keep shipping simple and affordable while providing you with the best service possible. As a small business, we genuinely appreciate your support and want to be transparent about how shipping works.

Free Shipping Threshold

We now offer free shipping on all orders over $150 — yay!

💲 Flat-Rate Shipping

To make things easy to understand, we charge flat rates based on parcel size and delivery location.
This approach ensures clarity and predictability when you’re checking out, and helps us keep costs fair for all our customers.

Our freight charges are:

  • Standard Shipping – Small Parcel: $7 flat rate for parcels up to A3 size (excludes rural addresses)
  • Standard Shipping – Large Parcel: $14 flat rate for items over 2kg or larger than A3 size (excludes rural addresses)
  • Rural Shipping – Small Parcel: $10 flat rate for parcels up to A3 size
  • Rural Shipping – Large Parcel: $17 flat rate for items over 2kg or larger than A3 size

What Are Large Items?

  • Large items are classified as any product that:
  • Weighs over 2kg, or has box dimensions larger than A3 size (29.7 x 42 cm)

Examples of Large Items (not an exhaustive list):

  • Co-sleepers
  • High chairs
  • Bumbo Products
  • Travel cots
  • Baby walkers
  • Nursery furniture

How long does shipping take?

Small parcels which fit into courier bags (up to A3 size) are sent using an overnight NZ Post service.
For large parcels (in boxes), the usual delivery times are as follows:

  • Christchurch and surrounding areas (small or large parcels): 1–2 days
  • Rest of New Zealand: Small parcels 1–2 working days
  • Rest of New Zealand: Large parcels 3–5 working days
  • Rural delivery addresses: 5–7 working days

Which shipping method do you use?

  • For small parcels (A3 courier bag or smaller), we use NZ Post's Overnight Service.

  • For large parcels (boxes), we use a door-to-door tracked courier service through Team Global Express.

Can you ship to PO Boxes?

We can ship small parcels (A3 and smaller) to PO Boxes using NZ Post.
For larger parcels (boxes), we use Team Global Express tracked courier service, and we cannot send box-size packages to PO Boxes.

Do you allow pickups?

Yes! We are based in Christchurch, and you’re welcome to pick up your order from our warehouse.

Pickup Times: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm.

What happens if my parcel hasn’t arrived?

If your parcel has not arrived within 4 working days, please track your parcel using the information provided in your tracking email.
If you need further assistance, please contact your nearest courier branch and quote your tracking number—they may see that a calling card was left or need more details about your location.
