What is the difference between 'Single-User' and 'Healthcare-grade' gel wings?
Single-user gel wings have a soft, 'less-intense' side and a colder blue side. You can choose the intensity that suits you best. The single-user gel wings have a fabric backing and are best suited to one person (rather than multiple patients in a healthcare setting). In a Healthcare setting these wings can be disposed or given to the patient.
Healthcare Grade Ice Wings are made of a medical grade plastic that can be sanitized using infection control policies. Both sides of this ice wing are able to be easily cleaned and sanitized for repeat use.
We use our Buzzy 4 Pain every day for our injections, and these gel wings have gone the distance. It was over 2 years of daily use before our original wings failed by springing a small leak so we picked up some replacement wings.
